Here, our actors will personify a variety of punctuation, exploring its functional and stylistic importance within a story through imaginative scenes and examples of usage. At the end, we invite you to come and watch as the stories and noise are brought to life for the audience!

This five day course, designed for 6-8 year-olds, will cover fundamental and age-specific grammar in a fun, interactive and innovative style. Working through a visual booklet, packed with demonstrations and sensory cues, our actors will create theatre out of grammar, guaranteed to captivate your child's attention and create a memorable learning experience to enliven what's often considered, the dullest of subjects!

Here, we teach children how to embellish their stories by pulling out literary devices from ‘The Writer’s Tool Box’. We explain and provide examples of personification, alliteration, similes, metaphors and onomatopoeia so children can use these tools to their advantage when crafting stories.

In this workshop we teach children about the fine balance between the pacing and movement of a plot, along with knowing how and when to include the appropriate detail and description along the way.

From characters and setting, to events and storyline, in this workshop we will teach children how to use punchy openings, an array of colourful characters, an impactful climax and original endings in their stories. The purpose of this workshop is to encourage your child’s voice and individuality, helping them gain the confidence to be themselves and divert from the norm.

With fun and familiar examples, we inspire children to create their own super hero protagonist to star in their stories.

Through an array of sensory demonstrations, we teach children how to transform a flat, dull piece of writing into a three-dimensional story that transports their reader into the scene.

Join us from the 25th October-28th October, 2:00-4:30pm, for a comprehensive writing course which will cover ALL areas of creative writing. Ideal for common entrance preparation, uninspired writers or those who need an injection of inspiration to combat writer's block.
