With fun and familiar examples, we inspire children to create their own super hero protagonist to star in their stories.

Here, we teach children how to use language and ideas to their advantage – gripping the reader early on and keeping their attention throughout the piece.

Through an array of sensory demonstrations, we teach children how to transform a flat, dull piece of writing into a three-dimensional one that transports the reader into the scene.

In this workshop, we teach children the importance of getting their ideas and descriptions down on the page in a specified amount of time – avoiding the verbose complications that can lead to confusing content and incomplete work.

To finish off the summer term, we celebrate the use of descriptive vocabulary – helping children to fully visualise its importance and impact in a piece of creative writing.
