Using our actors as templates, we give children the chance to craft their own characters through the use of words – bringing an array of colourful characters directly to life.

Here, we teach children how to embellish their stories by pulling out literary devices from ‘The Writer’s Tool Box’. We explain and provide examples of personification, alliteration, similes, metaphors and onomatopoeia so children can use these tools to their advantage when crafting stories.

Here, our actors will personify a variety of punctuation, exploring its functional and stylistic importance within a story through imaginative scenes and examples of usage.
