What is the age range for children attending your workshops?
We welcome children between the ages of 6 and 11.
Are children taught in specific age groups?
Yes, during the tutor assisted part of the workshop children are put into age related groups and are assigned the appropriate tutor. Children are in mixed aged groups for the performance based parts of our workshop because we believe, and have seen, that children benefit from being taught in mixed-age groups. Younger students are introduced to techniques they may not have covered at school yet, while older students benefit from the positive reactions of younger readers and from the reinforcement of skills they may have covered some time ago.

Will I see differences in my child’s writing?
Absolutely, we have been surprised ourselves at just impactful the format is in terms of improving quality and breadth of our student’s work. The proof is on the page!
What does my child need to bring?
Your child can bring a folder to put in any work, or a refreshment if they wish.
Where do the workshops take place?
The workshops take place at Chelsea Theatre, 7 World’s End Place, King’s Road, London, SW10 0DR.
How often do you run courses?
We create new courses each term, with variations on past themes along with the creation of new ones.
Can parents attend the workshops?
We are very happy for parents to come fifteen minutes before the finish so they can watch their children’s stories be performed by our actors.
